Apply adhesive to the back of the weather strip and the channel. Push the rest of the stripping into place as you continue around the door frame continuing to apply adhesive as you go along. Next wipe the weatherstripping channel and the new seals with a gentle cleanser and towel them dry. Start in one corner of the window making sure to match up the studs and lightly apply the adhesive to frame and strip.

Apply a very thin bead of weatherstripping. Before placing the new stripping first clean and dry the channel with a towel. Water damage can occur to your interior necessitating the replacement of upholstery or other components.
